Polka dot elastic! It’s not very common but one etsy shop has it!!
Charlene send me a nice variety to test and I just loved it!
The elastic is quite soft and stretches nicely. It is reversible so you can choose which side you want and it comes in a nice selection of colors as well!
I am in the process of releasing a new sewing pattern made just for such elastic bands. The pattern is for simple gathered skirts made from cotton, knits or ruffle fabric….
Don’t worry, you could make those skirts with regular wide elastic which is available at fabric stores.
Pattern will be out in about a week!
